From SRC to Bronze

Be 15 or older at final assessment. The national transition check is SRC attained within 3 years before starting Bronze; your trainer confirms the pathway and WA assessment requirements.

  1. Check Bronze entry

Be a financial member of the club. Arrange your own supervised Bronze swim and get the swim evidence signed.

  2. Bring your SRC records

    • SRC award date
    • Current SRC proficiency
    • Evidence of PUAOPE013, PUASAR012 and PUASAR013
    • Ask your trainer which manual edition your SRC used.
  3. Have your trainer check the pathway

The national transition requirements are SRC attained within 3 years before starting Bronze, current SRC proficiency and the PSAR35 pathway.

Transition does not apply? Ask which Bronze course to enrol in.

Your SRC used PSAR34? National instructions require the full Bronze portfolio and assessments.

Follow your assigned training. Your trainer must confirm WA assessment requirements before any practical task counts as completed. This intake guide grants no practical exemptions.
