Bronze Patrol Visit

Portfolio Task B, Part 2a. What to do on the visit and what to get signed.

    1. Choose an actual patrol with your trainer.
    2. No patrols during your course? Your trainer can arrange a mock patrol and act as Patrol Captain.
    Patrol teams and rosters
    1. Open Task B › Part 2a: Patrol Information and Questions.
    2. Bring a blue or black pen.
    1. Introduce yourself and explain the activity.
    2. Record the patrol name, date and start and finish times.
    1. Patrol commitments, hazards and prevention, roster expectations, radio call signs, ambulance access, equipment.
    2. Record answers in your portfolio. Discuss anything you could not establish.
    1. Discuss your findings with the captain and patrol team.
    2. Ask the captain to complete, sign and date the visit declaration.
    3. Give your completed portfolio to your trainer for the readiness check.
