How to get it
Step 1: Prepare
Do the Child Safe Awareness course and the pre-course workbook.
Step 2: Do the course
The WA Training Officers Course. Have a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or an education degree? Ask about recognition instead.
Step 3: Assessment
Deliver 3 full sessions. A club training mentor assesses you. Send your logbook to SLSWA.
Step 4: Keep it current
Every 2 years: the currency form or recorded hours, plus the yearly development session.
